What did you spend your third transfer on?
I have stayed with husband for close to twelve years, but he has not paid my dowry according our traditions because we did not have enough money to do so being that we had other responsibilities, so when I received my third transfer we agreed that would be our first priority. We used part of it to pay my dowry, as we speak I am glad I can speak where my fellow women are. I am no longer shy of any ridicule related to that. The remaining amount used to start a small retail shop where I make profits that help me in getting daily basic needs for my family. Thank to GiveDirectly.

The achievement I'm proudest of is having built our current house, we used to live in a very small house made of five iron sheets but through small saving and hardwork, we managed to build our current house which is a bit spacious.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship is on making ends meet.We live in a very hilly and stoney area making farming very difficult and as such we mostly depend on our business to survive but it's not enough to meet most of our needs.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in very early in the morning when I'm baking and making Mandazi, this is because I get some income from this by selling to members of my village.
