How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The difference in my life is that my family now has a good house and we sleep well unlike before rain water would wet the whole house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD helped me to build my own house and there is nothing it has not not do well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer purchase Twenty eight iron sheets for roofing my house at 1,260,000 ugx and I also topped some of my savings to timber which costed me 856000ugx.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I now sleep comfortably on a bed. This is my dream come true. Ever since i was born, I used to sleep down and never thought I would sleep on the bed.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money , I felt so happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy beddings like mattress,a bed, bed sheets at 185,000 ugx. I had never slept on a bed and when I received my money, it was my first thing to buy. I then bought some building materials such as sand, bricks and cement as plan to start building my house immediately such that I can save in regards to buying grass every year. Grass is very expensive and scarce so building will be a great relief.

The biggest hardship I am faced with is lack of money to meet the needs of my home.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when my family is all seated and chatting.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Recieving this money means I will be able to buy some livestock, buy household items.
