How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Four months ago I had no livestock in my compound, but thankfully, that is no longer the case as I have managed to save some of my own money which I combined to the transfers from GD and bought a calf and sheep. I was not able to buy a full-grown heifer due to financial difficulties, so I bought a calf that I know will mature only in a couple of years.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
There is a section of my house that had collapsed during the most recent rainy season which I wish to plaster before it crumbles further. I plan to use some of the next dew transfers to purchase the required materials such as sand cement to enable me to renovate the area.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I was able to save some of the money I have been receiving in the past four months which I then added to my own saving and purchased a calf. I never owned a cow before and I wanted something that would be a proper reminder of GD in my life even after the project is over, that is why I settled on livestock. Whenever I take a look at the calf daily, I am pleased fo I know that GD has made a difference in my life.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
Once I am done with the renovation of the section of my house that cracked and collapsed, I will now focus on buying foodstuff such maize to stock for next year. I know that the transfers will stop early next year, so I want to stock maize because this farming season is not so productive due to the inconsistent rains that were also not so sufficient therefore I have no hopes any decent harvest.

I now have an opportunity to buy food for myself and feed myself appropriately with utmost ease as opposed to how I used to struggle so much before when I had not yet started receiving the cash.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I plan to cement the interior part of my house to make it more durable and more beautiful. I will need to buy a few bags of cement and maybe sand that will be used for the process to make it a success.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I have been using this money to buy different things but the biggest difference is the sheep that I have been able to buy and I know it will continue giving birth and that will give me an opportunity to sell them and make some cash.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to buy more sheep that will give me a chance to have a large flock of sheep and for me it is important to have the large number of livestock because when I sell them out I will be able to get more money and eventually buy a cow.
