How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I would have been sad If I did not receive these transfers because I would have been living in a bad house. I would also not have managed to buy a bicycle which will make it easy for me to move around especially when going to the hospital or to my rice field.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done a very good job in my village. Many people had very bad houses but now we have good looking houses and we are all happy.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used the money to buy a bicycle so that I can be able to travel easily. I also used some of the money to buy maize since I received the money during a time when my family did not have enough food. I also used the transfers to buy cement so that I can fix my house.
