What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money has come at the right time with the way our situation is. I am now envisioning my wife doing a small business and participating in different economic opportunities that are available in the community. Since our child also gets sick at times, we shall make sure that we are eating good food most of the times. Although, this assistance will not be for long, I am planning on having a comfortable home and starting a small business which will be helping us in future.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Each time I eat good food with my family, we do get happy. Although participation in different activities of the village brings a sense of belonging to me as a man, happiness lies in the evening when I get to chat with my family. This time is always the happiest part of my day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
As a young man with a family, the only way for us to have money is to do farming pieceworks. Since the harvesting season is coming to an end, it means there is little one can do to make money in this village. This has always led to periods of hunger in my household as everything needs money most of the time.
