How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed in many ways, Now i have a house of iron sheets which I never thought I will afford it in my life. This year I can also afford fertilizer to boost my agricultural production which was never the case before GD and we are grateful.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly does well in giving people cash to help them solve their problems and improve their household situation.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my transfers on one Mattress and 12 bags of Maize.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have always had problems securing enough food every year because to get fertilizers for the garden has been a far fetched dream due to financial constraints as a result hunger has been a constant visitor in this household. So with this money I intend to purchase enough food items to last me throughout the year and I will also use a part of the money to renovate my house
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest whenever I can afford atleast 2 meals a day; lunch and supper as it is very difficult for me to find food
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have always dreamt of atleast having 3 meals a day but that has not always been possible because of financial problems and I believe now I will be able to afford atleast 2-3 meals a day
