Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received my first cash transfer I was so excited and happy, I was like Wow so this really happens..I'm so grateful for the money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now have a better business since I have been able to purchase more goods for my already established business. Also, I have been able to buy goats a thing that I never knew that I could never have imagined of buying on my own..This has brought a huge difference in my life as I have my own livestock.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have spent my most recent transfer to procure livestock such as goats so that I should be raising here at my compound. I have also used part of the money to procure more goods for his existing business ie he is selling fish and other goods. Lastly, I have also bought some beddings as well as a mattress so that I could have a better sleeping place.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I receive the transfer I will be happy because I'll will buy good furniture, a mattress and good beddings. I will use some of the money to start a fish selling business that I have always wanted to do. This money will help me realize that dream.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I was happy when I learnt about this program in other villages and couldn't wait for it to get to my village. This is because i have always envied people ride motorcycles and longed for one for a long time. No matter how I tried I could never have enough money to buy one. The coming in of this program gives me the hope that I'll be able to buy one now.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The challenges I'm facing is that I do not have money, to have money I have to do piece jobs. This is not enough because at times there's no jobs and that means I won't make money. This means I won't be able to meet my basic needs.
