What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means paying bride price to my parents. In our culture, a man I expected to pay an agreed number of cows to the girls family as a sign of appreciation to them. I conceived while at school and now staying with him in order for him to take care of the pregnancy then thereafter marry me.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when we are seated together sharing a meal. We relux and interract while trying to plan to see how the next day will be.it's interesting to be new couples and to spend time a lone during day time. That's my happiest part of the day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is lack of a reliable source of income. I rely on casual labour in order to meet daily needs. The daily income I get us not sufficient to meet household needs as well as pay bride price to my parents. That has left my household with low self esteem due to inability to marry customarily.
