What did you spend your second transfer on?
Am spending my second transfer on construction of an iron roofed house for my self.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion Give Directly did well to send us unconditional cash.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if i never received money in that i was able to get back my two acres of land which i had mortgaged. The construction of my house is on going and am sure of sleeping in a decent house in the next few days time.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to buy iron sheets, and I also cleared my debts that were overburdening me. I also bought beddings for myself, and I am hoping to spend the balance of money to buy bricks then start constructing my house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the money I became so happy and overjoyed.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I can now afford to eat and sleep comfortably . This is a dream come true for me and my life has never been the same again.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i have faced is when my father was imprisoned because of a murder case.My mother left for a new marriage in kenya and abandoned us.This forced me to drop out of school in primary one to start farming since, we no longer had anyone to take care off us.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning.This is the time school children pass nearby my home as they go to school.Seeing this children passing by while saying hello to me early morning makes me happy and proud.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means completing my iron roof house.This money will help buy iron sheets, nails and bricks to complete my house which has stayed incomplete for the last five years.Staying in an iron roof house of my own has always been my childhood desire.
