Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I went Monrovia to visit my family when I received my first transfer. I felt very proud. I started to celebrate. I have never received such huge amount of money in my life without condition attach. I have been struggling in my village to get money and pay my children fees. My family has not been having good sleeping place. With my transfer, I was able to pay my children school fees and buy 2 matresses for my family. With my children in school, I have hope for a better tomorrow. GiveDirectly has made my life meaningful.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my life now is am relaxed. I am not worry about my children education this school year. My children future is secured in school. My farm work is now moving smoothly. I am stress free and everyone in my house is happy because life has started changing. We enjoy sleeping on our new matress. GiveDirectly thank you for this financial support.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I spent my transfer on three significant things. I paid my children school fees. I alway use to worry when school opens as to how I will get money to keep my children in school. Secondly, I bought two matresses. One of the matresses for my children and the other one form myself. My children now feel valued because they have matress to sleep on. I also paid people to work on my farm. Before this transfer came, I used to work on my farm with my own hands, but now I have paid people to work on my farm. I appreciate GiveDirectly for my transfer.
