How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Life is different in that these transfers have enabled receive education that will be vital in searching for employment to earn living. My dressing has also improved with more clothes now available. Before, I had lost hope of having better education since we are many in the family yet there was no money to support each of us. In addition, I had a few clothes that weren't presentable to be in public.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well giving me money that has enabled me to back to school. Otherwise, I had lost hope of continuing with education. I don't see anything it hasn't done well in my opinion.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second to pay school fees, uniform and buy other school requirements like books. The balance is mean while saved to help complete next term's fees.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, my health is better than before. This is because, previously I used to engage in heavy jobs that wearied my body hence bringing in some complications that deteriorated my health.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the message of the money, I was overwhelmed with joy because I knew within me that the days of staying out of school have come to an end.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent Ugx700000 of my first transfer to make bricks. I'm planning to go back to school with the remaining balance of the transfer.

Receiving this money means being able to join a tertiary instution.I see this as an opportunity to join a teacher's training college.

The happiest part of my day is in the evening, when I associate with my peers at the nearest trading centre.

My biggest hardship is lack of tution to join a tertiary institution.
