I am planning to plaster the floor in my house. This will ease the cleaning process and enhance the tidiness in the household. A dusted floor is not conducive even for the health of my children.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I have been able to support my husband in paying school fees for our two children in high school. Before he used to do it all by himself this was too much burden on one person. When GD's transfers came in I was happy because I felt like I was going to be of help in paying our children's school fees.

In the next six months, I am hoping to revive my shop business to help me earn more revenue. This way can easily take up the responsibility of household expenses as my husband focuses on other projects. I am also hoping that I have plastered the floor and paid school fees for my children.

My next goal is to buy a few livestock. I am planning to buy goats. I recently heard someone got rich through rearing goats because of their low gestation period and their ability to survive in any climatic condition. I know in the next three years I will have gotten enough goats to start different projects. They will also save me especially when a financial emergency situation arises.

The greatest difference in my life is that I was able to boost my vegetable business. The business had been doing well which helped me meet some of my daily basic needs. I felt by boosting it, I would be able to increase my profits and be able to achieve more. True to enough, once I added more stock and included a variety of vegetables, I have been able to earn more. This has enabled me to provide for my family with no difficulty unlike before when we were just surviving.

I believe that my goat rearing project will do well. Depending on how successful it will be, I will decide whether I will continue to invest in it or not. But I am interested in doing this business at a larger scale because it looks promising. The risks involved are very minimal and preventable. They also come in handy where there is an urgent financial need. This will prevent me from taking loans.

Other than the joy and pride I have for having paid my children's school fee on time. I have managed to purchase most of the household items (utensils, seats, and bedding) with the GD transfers thus I no longer borrow these items from neighbors.

Currently, I do not have any livestock and I have always considered them as an investment. For the next four months of my life, I have a goal of saving the transfers that I'll be receiving so that I can purchase a goat for rearing. Since goats are cheap, I'm giving it a first priority so that later after it has given birth I'll sell them in order to raise money for purchasing a cow.

I have been able to pay my children's school fee on time with the last four month's transfers. This has enabled my children to attend all the lessons without being sent back home from school fee. This is the biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfers because I have been at peace knowing that my children have ample time in school for their studies.

Currently, my aim is to own livestock. I, therefore, have the plans to save the coming transfers so that I can buy a goat for rearing with the aim of selling the young ones in the future so that I can raise money to purchase a cow.

Currently, I am stress-free as I expect to receive money from GiveDirectly every month. I pay school fees for my children, I buy them food and even buy them clothes. We dress well and eat healthy food. I am proud of myself as I am now independent and I do not have any conflicts with my husband.

I want to save and buy building materials i.e cement and sand to plaster my floor. I have a mud house that exposes us to a lot of ailments due to the dust.

My child had just enrolled in secondary when I received the first transfer. I have been saving the transfers towards paying the school fee in time so that my child does not have to be sent away from school. My child does not stay at home for a long period of time. That is the biggest difference in my life right now.

I expect to save and buy building materials i.e. cement and sand and plaster my house which I had built but did not plaster as i ran out of mney to buy more materials. I also want to start a business that can generate my income so that I can provide my family. I also want my independence so much. I am tired of depending on my husband for everything.

My life is currently different from how it was four months ago because we eat well and actually a well-balanced diet. My children also study well without being sent home which was the norm before, this made them miss some lesson hence leading to their low performance. I am glad that right now they concentrate well in school.

My new goal is to cement my house since currently I normally smear it but the work is normally hectic.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months is that I managed to fix a steel door. Previously, we a had one which was made of iron sheets. This made me the laughing stock in the village and since I am normally a person who can be hurt by comments from people, this is what I decided to replace. Right now I feel good because I am safe and have a decent door that my neighbours did not imagine that I could own. Thanks to GiveDirectly.

I expect my life to change in the next six months in that, I will have plastered my house. I know that when this happens, I will enjoy mopping the flour easily and will no longer worry about smearing it which is normally hectic.

Being that I did not have a stable source of income, I had not thought of plastering my house but now that I'm sure of receiving money monthly I'm determined to plaster my house.

Had I not received the money, I would not have paid the school fee and probably my child would be at home by now as the others continuie with their studies. This is the current difference in my life.

I expect to have plastered my house and also to have a business so that I can have a reliable source of income.

The biggest difference in my daily life is that I managed to buy enough food for my children, this makes me so happy knowing that they are satisfied and happy.
