How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now have a peace of mind because I paid off all the debts I had and got back my gardens which I'm now cultivating freely unlike before I used to worry of how I was going to pay off the debts.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion,GD has elevated people out of poverty because I had so many debts but I was able to clear off my debts with the GD cash transfers I received, and there nothing bad it has done.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to pay school fees at 174,000ugx, Debt worth 470,000ugx, making bricks at 460,000ugx, Bicycle repair at 60,000ugx, and Savings worth 468,000ugx.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I sleep very well on a good mattress, new bed sheets and when the year begins i will be having land to cultivate since i have got back my gardens.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy when i saw the money in my phone.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I paid off all the debts i had like the land i used as collateral security which i had to settle @1500000 ugx and i spent 200000 ugx to purchase household items like mattress, clothes, bed sheets and utensils.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I be able to regained back the agricultural land that my husband hired out and in addition I will be able to buy household items
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when my children accept to go to the garden with me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is that I am in able to educate my children since the death of my my husband
