How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
Currently, I do not have to work extra hard to raise income for our day to day provisions. I have a stable business that helps in the generation of income that has really helped me fulfil most of my dreams. We came from taking just a meal day to three healthy meals a day. The transfers have also helped me to venture into livestock rearing to help in securing my family financially. This is something I have always wanted so I can say a big thank you to GD for this upgrade.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I do have a new goal of saving and expanding my business to help generate more income for my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have been able to set up a business to help in the generation of income for my family. We can easily eat three meals a day, buy clothes for my child and also fend for my pressing needs. The business has contributed to my independence and I hardly ever depend on my relatives for financial support.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect to boost my business some more which will, in turn, generate more income to help improve our living standards. By the end of the six months, I shall have bought more livestock for rearing to help in the generation of income for my family.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
On this year's planting season, I was able to hire a tractor to till my farm, bought hybrid maize seeds which I planted and even hired some labour to help in weeding the farm. All these were possible thanks to the transfers from Give Directly. Even though the weather was not so friendly this season and most farmers did not harvest much, my case is different as I can brag of harvesting more than I ever had which I owe to the transfers from Give Directly. I have also managed to construct a much bigger house which can now comfortably house my family and I no longer have to stress over a small leaky house that we lived in before. The business I was able to set up has also boosted my daily income and I can now comfortably take care of my family's daily needs
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I recently set up a new business with the aim of increasing my daily income to support my family and give me a stable source of income after the transfers are over. So far, I have only managed to bring in some of the items I wish to sell and I want to continue using my next transfers to buy more products to stock and improve the business.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Four months ago, I was living in a tiny house that leaked a lot during the rainy season and was too small and uncomfortable to house my large family. Over the past year, my husband and I have been spending most of our transfers on construction materials with the aim of constructing a bigger and much better house. We were finally able to achieve this dream early this year and we now have a bigger and much decent house. We now live more comfortably and no longer have to worry whenever it rains or where to host our visitors.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I hope that in the next six months, my business will have stabilized and grown better than it is now so that when the transfers are over early next year, I will still have a source of income and a stable way of providing for my family. I expect to improve financially.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is currently different than it was four months ago because I currently live in a more comfortable house. My children are no longer affected by rain since they can easily do their studies and finish on time irrespective of changes in weather conditions. Moreover, I do not feel worried whenever it rains. I am always assured that no single property of mine can get destroyed by the rains unlike before when I was living in a leaky house.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, my new goal is to start up a shop. I have always longed to start up a business from which I will be able to get some daily earnings. This will supplement my daily income thus I shall feel relieved from hard labor.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
In the last four months preceding the current transfer, the biggest difference in my life is owning a new house. I was previously living in a small and leaky house. Whenever it rained, we were always forced to take shelter in one of the corners which was not much affected by rains. Most of the time, I could spend the entire time sitting down while waiting for the rain to subside. In the current house, I am not affected by rains whatsoever. I thank God for GiveDirectly's financial support.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to save my transfers and add some of my earnings to use as capital to start up and run my own shop. This will be my best alternative source of earnings. As a result, I will no longer have to depend on hard and unreliable casual jobs.

The biggest difference in my daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer is the happiness and pride I have for having constructed a big decent house. Previously I couldn't afford a peaceful night whenever it rained because I had to wake up wait for the rain to stop, drain water from the floor thereafter spread a nylon bag and my children's bedding on top of it then let them sleep. This is not the case anymore and I owe it to GD.
