What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I spent the whole of it on a sofa set. I never had a sofa in my house and this could easily lower myself-esteem. I am now proud of the new look of my main house-I can now welcome and host visitors in my home without fear.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Currently, I eat well since we have enough food in our store. Besides, I live in a better house with high level of self-esteem. And finally, my children are in better school courtesy of Give Directly. My living standard has actually improved and it is how my life is different than it would have been if I never received cash transfer from Give Directly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own opinion, I was pleased with the fact that Give Directly sent us money as opposed to goods, however, I would highly encourage them to increase the amount they churn out to us so that we may be able to accomplish most of our projects.
