What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my second transfer, I was able to purchase four bags of cement at 120,000ugx, 12 iron sheets worth 260,000ugx, lent 1,000,000ugx to the brother in law in exchange for three acres of land, the balance of 253,000 UGX, we used for purchasing household items.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give directly has done well to give us uncoditional cash transfers and I would request them to improve on giving additional cash transfers to people who have not completed constructing permanent houses.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I have now gained self esteem which was lacking before I received Give directly's unconditional cash transfers which has enabled me to acquire necessary items for life. Before this support, my life was useless and I felt neglected by my community.
