How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal is to fix my house and make it much comfortable for my family, My house has been having leakages for one year now and when the rain falls, most of my furnitures in the house get wet and sometimes spoiled. When I fix my house, I will live more comfortable and happy with my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well by by advising us properly before giving us the transfers which allow us to make good decisions with our money. They are also kind and patient with us during interviews. I haven't noticed anything that GiveDirectly is not doing well in this town, everything is okay with me.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I want to use my third transfer to buy some building materials to fix my house, living in a house with leakages is a serious embarrassment to my family, I will also buy food for my family and use the remaining amount to settle my other three children school fees who have not been registered in school yet.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I am successful to receive the transfer, I will pay my children school fees with it. I decided to spend it for the school fees because I know when they are educated they will help to better my life and their own lives. Like last school year, they did not go to school because I never had money. And their father too who suppose to help me with the fees, he got two wives. Because of that, anything he earns from his activities he shares it into two As the result, he is not able to help with my children fees. And for me too, the fufu I can process from the cassava from my farm for sale does not have good price these days. So if I am successful to receive the cash, that will be a blessing for my children to go to school.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Yes,I have been and still very now the fact that I have life,. Also, the fact that my children and the rest of my family are well in their body, yes I am happy . I am saying because these days the death rate is so high. Almost everyday people die around me in other communities. so for me to always be alive and afford meal to eat, even if it is one time a aday, I am happy for that.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main challenge here is how to raise money to pay my children school fees and pay their hospital bill just in case they are sick. I considered money to be a major challenge because this is the only way I will be able to do what I have mentioned earlier without money, I will not do anything about that. In addition to that, it is very difficult to raise money here. The fufu I most time depend on to raise money doesn't have good price these day.
