What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on buying building materials that I used to build a new house. We added it to the second transfer. The house I had before was so squeezed that could not accommodate my growing family.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I haven't spent my second transfer yet but I have plans of using it on construction of a new spacious house to replace the single roomed one that I had before. At the moment I am burning bricks that I plan to use in the construction of the same house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the ease I have found in feeding the big family that I had. Our living standards have greatly improved as we are able to eat any type of food that we may long for.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I used to sleep on rags before, so when I received my first transfer, I used 7000 KES from it to buy a bed and a mattress. The balance was spent on buying utensils and other foodstuffs for my family.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money, I felt so grateful and excited at the same time because it was going to enable me get proper bedding for me to sleep comfortably.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I faced in my life was when I lost two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law at once, we had to take care of all the burial expenses and also take care of the children left behind. This even forced me to sell all the cattle I had to leverage the situation.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening after I am through with the day's work and seated around my family members.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am so happy to have been selected as one of the beneficiaries because this now means I will be able to upgrade my house to a brick wall and also change my leaky roof.
