How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before I could start receiving my transfer, my house roof has been leaking and my children were in school but I had no money to sponsor them and renovate my house. With the help of GuveDirectly transfer, I was able to renovate my house and pay my son graduation fee and I want to say a big thanks to giveDirectly for the support.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No, I already had a planned during the time I received the first transfer. That is, to renovate the roof of my house that is been damaged for the past 4 years. My house has been my major concern because, I have been having sleepless nights during rainy season and I really want to fix it.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done so much good things for me. GiveDirectly made me to have a planned of renovating my house to a morden standard. I Think GiveDirectly has done plenty of good things for us. In all GiveDirectly works, she has made lots of impacts on our people. I personally have not seen anything that GiveDirectly have done wrong.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Although I have not cash out my money yet, but I'm intending of renovating my house roof. Upon cashing out my second transfer, I will immediately go to Monrovia to buy two bundles of zinc, nails, planks and other materials for the renovation of my house. I'm also expected to pay workmanship as well.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was home that morning when my brother-in-law came to inform me that Give Directly has sent my transfer. Upon receiving this good news, I was very happy because I had no money to pay my son graduation fees and roof my house.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Since I started receiving my transfer my daily life has changed because I can easily provide food for my children on time and my children are proud of me because I was able to invest more money in their education compared to the past years.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The recipient said when he receives the transfer,he will buy zinc to renovate the house he's living in now because the zinc is old and leaking.
What is the happiest part of your day?
"What really brought joy to me was during the Independence celebration this year ,my older daughter sent me food,soap and some cash. I was really happy." The recipient said he was surprised that his older daughter would send him so much things for Independence celebration,his heart was filled with joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Some of the challenges the recipient is faced with are: His health,he said most times gets sick and would be in bed for months due to old age and nobody to help take care of him at home during those times.He also said That he feels bored being alone at his house because his kids are not around.
