What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on paying school fees for my child who is in high school.I am appreciative to GiveDirectly for giving me hope and assurance that I am to educate my child at any level.I bought pressure pipes and I no longer worry of hiring pressure pipe from my neighbors and a dairy cow too. I bought a bag of maize and non- durable foods.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that I have paid school fees for my child who is in high school hence I am appreceiative to GiveDirectly for giving me hope and assurance that I am able to eduacte my child at any level.I also have pressure pipes and I no longer worry of hiring pressure pipe from my neighbors especially on drought seasons.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly did well by fulfilling promises on a voluntary basis and this reduced misconception about the organisation in my community.

I spent the larger part of my second transfer on buying pressure pipes which I connect to my water pump that I had bought earlier.This initiative has enhanced the productivity of my yields and now the sales of my kales that I have harvested has gone up and I am making double profits hence I am enjoying being self employed. I also paid school fees for my child who is in high school.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying vegetable seedlings, maize and clothes for my children. I am a farmer and hoping to have a good harvest in the next season.
What are you planning to spend your upcoming transfer on?
I am planning to spend my upcoming transfer payment on building a semi- permanent house, buying water pump machine for irrigation and paying fees for my daughter who will join secondary school the coming year.

I intend to use my transfer on paying school fees for my children, I will also use part of it to lease a land and scale up vegetables farming and use the remaining amount to buy food for my family.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement is ability to farm with one heart and energy because through this I'm able to feed my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I'm facing is on paying school fees for my children, I have one boy in class eight right now with huge fees arrears .
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the morning when I'm cultivating in my farm.I grow a lot of traditional vegetables which has good and ready market.
