What did you spend your third transfer on?
My grandmother had just passed on when I received my third transfer, so most of it I spent on the funeral expenses. The remaining I spent on buying a cow which I later had to sell to build my father a house.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent on paying dowry to my inlaws; bought two cows and paid some amount of money in form of dowry to recognise my marriage. I also spent on seats, mattress, a bag on maize and clothes for my wife and children.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is having paid dowry which has been my dream despite the fact that I could not afford the costs. I feel proud,free and happy that I am now a respected husband.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent most of my first transfer on food for my household to ensure that there is constant supply in this dry season. I also bought a mattress to ensure i can sleep comfortably.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy and peaceful when i received the money because i though GD was like some other NGOs that do not fulfill their promises.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I have planned to go and look for my father who got lost in Garissa for almost 13 years. I will also go and pay dowry for my wife and I will also expand my house.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
My proudest achievement was when I bought a cow for the first time. But I sold it when my mother passed away to take care of the funeral expenses.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is living without my father for a very long and not being able to see him yet he is still alive.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when am working and I make money.
