How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Currently my life is different because I am a happy person. This is because my iron roofed house is getting complete and soon I will enter relieving me from the small congested leaking grass thatched house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly has done well by helping people in my community. People have improved in terms of housing and agriculture. However, there is nothing that GiveDirectly has done bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy more building materials such as bricks, cement, iron sheets, timber and paying labor that is helping me finish up building my house. I then spent part of my transfer on feeding. I also bought some household items such as utensils, a mattress.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I receive this money, I will build a low cost ironsheets house. There is scarcity of thatching grass and the house I am living in currently is small and it leaks whenever it rains, which spoils the property inside the house. If there is any balance, I will buy oxen which will help simplify agricultural work and cut down some costs like hiring oxen.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening. This is the time I go to rest and in most cases it finds when I have finnished all the necessary work and I will have had my meals.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is lack of enough money to cater for our household's basic needs like food, medical care and utilities. There is no enough land to practice large scale agriculture which boosts our household income.
