What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a larger portion of the transfer to buy plastering matrials(cement, and sand) which I'll use to cement my house because it is earth at the moment. I bought a metallic door because the one I had was only made of iron sheet. I also purchased foodstuffs for family consumption.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now own a large house that hold all my household. The house I had was too small. This was forcing my children to have their nights at the neighborhood. Besides, I now have a home where I make decisions without necessarily consulting my in-laws as it used to be.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion what GD does well is that it reach out to us without involving third party or government officials. I'm sure if GD was to involve government officials, we couldn't have received the entire money. At the moment I'm not sure what GD doesn't do well.
