GiveDirectly has done nothing bad, I never thought of zinc house in my life and Direct Direct brought comfort to me. I don't know if GiveDirectly will ever do bad things because the Organisation is very straight.

What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I used part of my transfer to pay three of my children's school fees; I also bought three bundles of zinc to build a new house and I helped my brother with his children's school fees as well. There wasn't sufficient food in my brother's house; I bought one 25kg bag of rice to help feed his children and my mother.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
I have been stress-free because my children tuiations have been paid in time. I am now financially strong to help my brother with his children's school fees and buy food for my mother who lives with him. Above all, one of the biggest difference this transfer has made in my life is the fact that I will be respected and have my voice heard in my family. I feeling that poverty has gone from me. GiveDirectly has added value to my life andbi am very happy.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
My husband and I were brushing under our cassava farm, on our farm we have a specific place where we hang our phones for network. While we were brushing, we heard the massage arlet on the on the phone and I took the phone to my husband. When we checked the account balance, I saw that huge amount which I am to receive four times. There was this overflow of happiness that came over me. I felt great relief and up to now, I am still very happy.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship I'm facing now is to get money to recondition my house. My house is damaged and I have been living in this damaged house for the past five years and I am very comfortable with this kind of condition I'm in.Eventhough I produce soap and sell but the little profit I earn from the soap is not enough to recondition my damaged house.Sometime I sell dry meat in order to provide food for my family .I will really appreciate any help from GiveDirectly to improve my household livelihood
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the 6 months what has brought joy or happiness is when my son bought me lappa that cost 2500.00 Liberian Dollars.I was happy and started thanking God for what he did for me because it is the only expensive lappa that I have for service. So the fact that my son bought me expensive lappa to use for service brought so much joy to me.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I'm successful to receive GiveDirectly Cash transfer I intend to recondition my house and make a bigger business inorder to support my family . Although I produce my own soap and sell but the little profit I earn from the small business is what i spend on food. The structure I live in the roof is made of thatch when the rain starts to fall it damage some of my belongings. And I not comfortable with the kind of condition I'm in.I want to buy zinc to roof my house but there's no money.
