Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
My name is Boakai G Sesay from Saykay town Bomi County Liberia. When I received transfer massage from Givedrectly I was very glad and started dancing because, it is my first time to receive huge amount of money in my life.

The money receive from Givedrectly had helped me get my own motor bike. My mother in law has been sick for the past four months and there was no money for treatment. My wife is about to start business to help me with other household problems. I am a farmer and depends on my crops for survive life has been difficult for me and my family. I am planning to build my own house upon receiving my balance transfer from Givedrectly. I am so excited

I withdraw twenty five thousand Liberian dollars to pay for second handled motor bike and send eight thousand Liberian dollars to my mother in law for her treatment and kept the balance for my wife to start business.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When be bless to receive the transfer, I will add my woman business up so that she can be able to make good profit. If some of the money remain, I will save it for the future.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What really makes me feel happy in the last six months is when my uncle turned over the house I'm living right now to my mother and the land. Because my mother couldn't move there, she allowed me to move there.

One of the major challenges facing me and my woman now is food. Because to get money to buy food is not easy especially when you don't have any job to do.
