How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is much different in that I feel complete after I was able to construct a permanent house. I am much relaxed and happier compared to the past when I was staying under a dilapidated thatched house. Life in the past was very miserable.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I receive this money, I will build a low cost ironsheets house. The house we are in currently is so small to accommodate all of us. I will also start a small business of selling clothes to supplement on our household income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon because its usually the time I associate with different people like the neighbours and other friends.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is lack of enough money to cater for the household needs. This is because we have limited land to practice agriculture which is our main source of income.
