How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Educating my children has been my biggest motivation in life.I am planning on raising some cattle on my farm . When they produce, I will sell them to educate all my children in school.When I'm no more able financially to support my family, they will be the one looking after the family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
We will never forget about Givedirectly assistant in our lives. Because of them, I was able to enroll all of my children in school, which I'm forever grateful to God almighty.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
All of my four children are in school in the city and paying their fees has been our major challenge so far.The farm work we do can't sustain the family nor pay our children's fees. We have found it difficult to renovate my entire house, but with the help of Givedirectly we were able to pay all of my children's fees and were able to renovate our home into a comfortable one.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I'm successful to receive the Give Directly cash transfer I intend to finish my house so I will be able to have a better place to sleep. I have been living in this unfinished house for the past 1 year and I'm not comfortable with this kind of condition. During the rainy season, I encounter cold because the rooms that my family and I are using for sleeping places don't have doors, we have to use lappas as our doors. Besides My husband who used to help me make a large farm is sick. So the small money I earn from the later garden I make is what I spend on food. I want to finish my house but there's no money.
What is the happiest part of your day?
With all the hardship I'm going through hearing about such a great opportunity from Give Directly this morning brought me joy. I feel happy because it has been my prayer to get money to finish my house so the fact my community was selected brought me joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My husband has been making farms since he was young. Since he got sick last year, there's no one to help me make large farms. I have to make a small farm due to my strength to provide food for my family. Moreover, seeing my husband who used to help make a large farm for us to finish our house is sick got me frustrated. Getting money to finish my house is the biggest challenge currently.
