How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Had I never received my money, I would not have been able to get separate farm land that will help me be independent in terms of farming. Before, I used to share farm land with my mother where by when farm produce is ready for harvest, I had no personal authority over it. I had to ask for permission from my mother as to whether to sell it or not. This really made things a little difficult yet at times I needed an immediate help.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well by giving me money that has enabled me to get my farm land that will help me to cultivate on my own other than depending on my parents. On the other hand, GiveDirectly has done absolutely nothing wrong. It has really come as a blessing ing community.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to hire garden land that I will use until I am paid back the amount of money I used to hire it. I then bought some seedlings that I will plant when the farming season starts. I bought some household items such as bedsheets.
