What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means timely payment of school fees for my children. When they have studied and got jobs, they will be able to support me in the future. Currently, I do casual labour in order to make sure that my children stay at school and study well.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy in the morning when I have woken up and checked that all my children are healthy. That allows me to go out with a free mind for casual labour in order to make my household smile in a day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Lack of oxen for ploughing is my biggest hardship. In our culture, we use oxen to open farm land for crop cultivation. I therefore have to do casual labour in order to raise money that I use to hire bulls for ploughing. Owning oxen will enable early planting which yields at the and of the harvest.
