Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My goal is to continue paying the school fees using the transfers and ensure that I have all the necessary materials needed to study.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the fact that I am no longer sent home for unpaid school fees. Before, I used to be sent home quite often for school since my mother could not afford paying my school fees and still meet other household needs at the same time. We got into an agreement with our head teacher to be paying a small amount of money every end month and that is where the transfers come in. I will be doing my secondary school examinations this year and I am confident of good results, thanks to GiveDirectly.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I hope to have prepared well for the exams and that I will have all the required materials to sit the exams. Passing these exams means I will be able to join a good college and pursue my higher learning.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
The biggest difference in my life in the last four months he self-reliance that I attained. My worst nightmare was having to ask for every need from my parent. My mother who is the sole bread struggled so much just to put food on the table so that asking for money to spend on grooming would be inconsiderate of me yet I needed it. Currently, I even help my mother to pay school fees and rent form my brother at a university which makes me useful and I feel proud of myself. My mother too is now relieved a little from all the financial problems she faced before I started to use the transfers this way.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My new goal is to save money so that I use it to start a course and eventually a business. I save the money on mobile money which is very easy and secure to use.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
Taking care of my own needs especially dressing now that I have completed my secondary school is the biggest difference in my life. Most of the times before completing school, I used to be scantily dressed something that was not appealing to me. Currently, I get to wear good nice clothes that I could never have had been it not for GD. I am so happy that I am just like the rest of the girls in the village now.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My life will have improved because I will be taking my course in fashion and design. I will have used the money to make entry into the training institution and paid school fees. This will give me skills that will enable me to make money on my own and make a living. I will start a business soon after the training because I will have the skill in fashion and design. I will therefore unlike now, have hope to find work to do and make an income

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life has greatly changed over the last four months because I am able to cater to my personal needs. I am well dressed and very comfortable with myself as I feel good to also have the basic desire as a young lady to dress like the rest of my peers. Being that I save some money, I am also hopeful that soon, I will be able to also meet my school fees needs beyond the secondary school level.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I plan to continue saving money over the next four months. This is because I will be Joining a college or a university soon after completing the secondary school level and I will need a lot of money. I save in my mobile money account for these future expenses.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my life is that payment of my school fees has become a smooth process. Initially, I used to rely on my mother who was struggling very hard since her income is low. She is a peasant farmer who is a single mother and raising up all my siblings and I is overwhelming. As a result, I could miss school because the fee payment would delay causing me to miss classes. But using some of the transfers, I am able to assist her in the payment which is now giving me ample time to complete my studies. My performance has improved and I expect very good results at the end of the year.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I will be sitting for my final secondary school exam. This will be a time where the transfers will have taken me well through my studies. I will be giving my best as this laying a foundation for my career life. I am confident that I will do well and proceed to train in a college that I will choose after the results are out.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving the money I'm able to pay my school fees on time unlike before where I could not get the money on time. I could be sent home to collect school several times and at times I missed some lessons and this was affecting my performance. My mother is a farmer and sometime she could hardly get the money to pay our school fees due to the poor harvest. I have a brother in the university and other siblings in primary school. Getting school fees for all of us is a big challenge to my mother. I have been applying for bursaries but I have never been successful to get any for my school fees. Nowadays I get time to study well and my performance has really improved because I can devote all my time studing. The school fees are paid on time and I expect good performance to enable me to join university next year.

I expect my life to change in the next six months in that I will be able to attend all the lessons and improve on my previous grades at school.
