Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have been able to pay for my husband school fees to pursue a course in driving, I am investing in this with hope that when he completes his course he can get a job and supports the family financially. Secondly, my family members now dress well and my mind is relaxed because I have bought some household items that I did not have.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I became so happy when I saw the mobile money message, this was an opportunity for me to settle the most pressing needs in my family.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent UGX 1,000,000 of my first transfer to pay for my husband school fees to do a course in driving. I bought a cow at UGX 435,000 for my father as part of dowry, clothes, curtains and bed sheets at UGX 150,000. The balance of the money was spent on food.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this moeny means my household will be able to acquire oxen that will support the household in ploughing our farm and as well as for other people in exchange for money that will support the household. Besides, when a cultivate crops in that dark land, there will be a likelihood of early planting and hence high yields which will increase household resilience to external shocks.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening after super. I am happy around this time because I am going to rest. The rest of my day is full of work, one after another which makes me tired.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face in my life is inadequate food for the household. This is because I do not own oxen that I could use to support me in timely ploughing of farm land in order to plant early for improved yields and income. This has weakend my immunity hence household members fall sick often.
