What does receiving this money mean to you?
"What I plan to do with my cash transfer is, to invest into agriculture, this will really help, because my family had been facing so much financial difficulties, I'll really love to have Peanut, Corn, Banana farms, reason being, these foods are the fastest selling produce in this rural region, in doing this, I will be able to help my family live a better life, and also contribute to our economy at large."
What is the happiest part of your day?
"What brought me happiness in the last six months is, my eldest son, Maxwell Bowier, was able to solicit loan from a friend, which he had invested into business, and his business is flourishing, and it had reduced some of my financial burdens, and had brought me proud as well."
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
"Those challenges I'm currently faced with are, firstly, the issue of sending my children to school, secondly, feeding them, and lastly, to build my own house within this town, these are all challenges I'm faced with, reason being, the crops I have aren't much, and sometimes it takes eight to nine months to produce before harvesting; I sell those produce, the little cash I raise is what I use to support my children in school and feed the home as well. After attending to these demands, there can be nothing much left to even start my building project, and there are times where I can fall short, in the sense, the dears and other animals can sometimes waste our efforts by eating these crops, which can lead to shortage in fund, and cases effect on my children's school fees payment."
