What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent part of my third transfer on seeking for medical attention after I had a wound on my leg which ended up being amputated. I am glad I am a live and I did not have to sell my parcel of land to settle the hospital bills. Thank God I am alive. The remaining I spent ploughing a piece of land where I grew and harvested corn for my family consumes. Thank you GiveDirectly for the money.

I spent a portion of the transfer in medicating myself. I invested a portion of the transfer in farming activities. I also purchased family foodstuffs with the rest of the transfer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I'm now on my feet. I was absolutely sick and couldn't get better medication due to financial constraint, in fact I was left for dead because no one could come to my aid.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on hiring a tractor to cultivate 1.5 acre piece of land (5,000 KES), and spent the rest on my treatment (5,000 KES)
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received my money I was elated, and prayed to thank God for the miracle. It happened that my neighbours had already cultivated land in preparation for the current rainy season but my piece of land remained unprepared because I had no money. I thank God for the transfer.
