What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I plan to buy a plot of land of USD1111 in Bungokho in Mbale District which is a flat area with no threats of land slides and safe for settlement and cultivation. I also plan to use USD416 to a diary cow and also use USD 138 to put up a kiral for the cow so that it grows very fast and provide us with milk for both domestic use and selling to raise money for acquiring basic needs in the home. I then opt to use USD 277 to secure household equipment like a big sauce pane, a big drum of 200Litres, and clearing school fees for my daughter at school for her to study regularly and perform well.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I felt very happy when my daughter who sat for Primary Leaving Examinations passed very well with a second grade and she is now in senior one trying to sharpen her future.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
We currently face a problem of bad weather most especially when it rains, we are always affected by landslides and flash floods which destroy plantations both food crops and cash crops like coffee and bananas hence having food insecurity and poor income.
