How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is now different in that, my standard of living has totally improved because I have been able to acquire livestock and so many other things that I couldn't afford before.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give directly has done well in giving out unconditional cash transfers to the poor. On the other hand, Give directly has done nothing bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on livestock and for treating my self. I have saved the balance for future use.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that now I sleep comfortably in a good house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my money I became very happy and my heart was filled with joy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first to purchase sand at 130,000ugx, 14 bags of cement at 420,000ugx for plastering my house. I also bought amattress at 110,000ugx, bed sheets at 18,000ugx and a water drum which costed me 35,000ugx. The balance of the money, I plan on buying some cattle to rear.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money is a means of helping me to buy a cow, which will provide milk to me. then the balance ,I will use for renovation of my house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when I recieve phone call from one of my children .telling me that I have sent you some mobile money .
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship which I face is poverty. which has made me not even to take morning tea ,resulting to eat once in a day.
