Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy because I got money for building apermanent house which I wasn't able to build.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life is much better because I now sleep comfortably on my bed as oppossed to when I slept on the floor with a matterss which was torn into pieces and suffered from ant bites. Secondly, I have built my permanent house upto roofing level. I hope to shift after completing it with my second transfer.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I purchased household goods( a mattress, a bed and pair of bedsheets ) worth UGX 280,000. The recipient also bought building materials( four trips of bricks, a metalic door, a window and iron sheets) but did not know a mount spent by the son who was incharge of building.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Recieving this money means I can buy livestock and household items. I have not been haning oxen to plough and the households are few and very old.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is during evening hours especially when I'm resting after busy day's work.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is lack of agricultural inputs and oxen to cultivate crops on time.
