How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
RE: We have never received such gift from any organisations( NGOs or government). Before givedirectly could come, it was difficult surviving here, because my wife and I only did little agricultural activities which could not give much money. We purchase a land years back from our savings but could not start a structure on it because of our financial struggles. With our givedirectly transfers we have planned to construct a house on the land in Cestos city and start a little business at home here, because the house we are living in here already have a shop connected to it
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
RE: We are happy for givedirectly because they have really make us fulfilled our dreams that we taught we could never imagine becoming reality. I urge givedirectly to keep working with their stuff, givedirectly stuffs that have been here are really train and unique. Givedirectly is doing very well from the enrolment process up to present their system is really good as well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
RE: As we have completed the documentations of our land in Cestos city, we are going to use this transfer to purchase zinc, nails, planks and other materials to start the construction of our house. With this help givedirectly is giving us, we cannot afford to waste it just like that. My family and i see this givedirectly transfer as a one time in lifetime help and are extremely grateful.

RE: "I am a farmer with lot of positive dreams for my family and i, but as a farmer it was difficult realizing those dreams nevertheless now with the present of givedirectly transfer we are moving fast in realizing those dreams. One is very soon we will have our own shop which will be helping us support our children in school, support three children in school had not been easy on us but right now our worries have reduce because of givedirectly transfer we will have nothing to worry about again. Once we open our shop soon we will be relax.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
RE: " I want to take my time to spend the money so that it can benefit my family and i for a long-term. I have my children in Monrovia attending school supporting three children in school had not been easy and they need my support now more than before, therefore we( my wife and I) have decided to invest in other to help them. In other to keep supporting them( our children) my wife and i have decided longtime before givedirectly could even come here, to open a shop so we started fixing the shop which is already attached to our house but money had been our major problem. With givedirectly money we are sure our shop will soon be open, because right now the little money we have save over the time is what we are using right now to complete the fixing of the shop and after, we will use our transfer money to buy goods for the shop."

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Well I am really happy,I have long plans on mind that I struggle long time to get over, but to no avail because of the financial crisis I am faced with.I struggle many days to send my children to school and to get a better living place for them in Monrovia. So my first plan for this money if I am qualified to get it,I want to purchase a land in Monrovia and built a house of my own to stop me from paying rent, secondly to complete all of my children tuitions payment, especially for those in college. So that has been my plans and by the help of GD,I will do just that when this cas transfer is been done to me.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Yes,despite with the financial crisis I am faced with, this gone school year was so good.My four girls children graduated from high school and presently took entrance to enter university. I am now a proud father, I am very happy and looking for money to stand up for them in their school journey. So with this GD cash transfer,I will use portion of it to make sure they stay in school.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My main challenge here is finance.I am engaged into Agricultural activities, but when I harvest my crops no good road to get it on time for sale. Sometimes it leave with us and spoil. I don't have my own vehicle/ bike. But as time goes by,I intend on getting one bike for transport purpose.I think by this it will help me to do a better sale and save money for my family. So I plan that if some of my transfer can get me a second handed motor bike of my own that will lessen the cost of transportation and the spoiling of my goods.
