How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I have a peace of mind, because I'm now in position to provide for my family. With this motorcycle, I do transportation business which is generating income for the family. I would not have bought a motorcycle had I not received this transfer this transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well to give me money to better my standard of living, and it has not done any thing bad.

I spent all my second transfer, to add with the first transfer to buy a motorcycle.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
After receiving my first transfer of 1,700,000ugx, I have kept it at home since the plan is to purchase a motor cycle that I want to use for boda transport to enable the household to generate daily income to support the family.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When I received my first transfer, I held my spouse's hand and we danced in appreciation for the support received from Givedirectly.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, we are now living a happy life as acouple grounded with hope that we shall have our own motor cycle. Before this transfer, I used to find life difficult since I was riding a motor cycle which was not mine. The owner wanted money and I had also family needs to meet hence living a miserable life.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i face is lack of money for starting income generating activity,like bodaboda riding.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of the day is evening hours when iam together with my family.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
My plan is to buy a motocycle. This motocycle i shall be riding it as a boda boda carrying customers from Chebukube centre to siroko district hence generating money for my family up keep.
