What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent 31000 KES of my third transfer on buying cattle (a dairy cow and 5 sheep). I bought bedding at 5000 KES and used the rest of the money on renovating my house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I sleep comfortably in comfortable bedding. I no longer sleep on the ground. I also have the hopes of soon having milk after my cow has given birth.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what Gd does well is giving cash to recipients to decide on what to spend it on. This has really improved their lives.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 15,000 KES from my second transfer to pay school fees for my child who is in high school, I spent 20,000 KES I spent o buy a cow which will provide my family with milk hence good health for my grandchildren, I bought asteel door at 7,000 KES to enhance my security and that of my family, I also bought a sofa set at 7,000 KES and the remaining amount I spent to buy food for my family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my child has not been sent home for school fees like it has always been in the past and this has made my daily life peaceful. Thank you GD.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on cultivating my acres of land, bought a sack of maize for consumption, bought school uniforms and paid fees for my children in lower primary school.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
My heart felt joyful and when I received the money I had been anxiously expecting to spend on cultivating my farms for good harvest. I am very happy with what GD has done to me.
