I used a portion of my second transfer to restock my small scale shop which is my major source of income, I bought iron sheets, steel windows and steel door which am planning to use in building a new house because the one am living in is almost falling down. In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly did well in sending us money which has enabled recipients to achieve what they could not do before due to their financial status like building houses and starting businesses. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If I would not have received the transfer, I would still be doing casual jobs which was not giving me much money but now because of the transfers, I have my own business and no longer works for people. Thank you GD for the transfers.
