Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
"I was in the town when picking my breadfruit when I got the SMS alert with the total amount of 35,625LRD. I was very happy when I saw the amount. It is my first time ever getting such amount on gratis. I hurriedly went and informed my wife since we have already planned to build our house due to the current dilapidated condition of the family house we live in. The next morning, I engaged my colleagues since we have planed to composed ourselves into coup by molding bricks for each other whenever one's time reaches. The place we currently live doesn't represent a living being dwelling place. When the rain comes in, almost all of our things including clothes get we wet beyond imagination".
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
"Some of the biggest and greatest differences this cash will make in my life and family is that, it will change our living conditions, especially during the rainy season. Settled the financial obligations with my children's school. There will be a condition in which I can sit anywhere and point to the usage of my transfers from GiveDirectly".

"Since our plan is to build ourselves and children a better living place (house), I have used part of my transfer to buy a bundle of zinc, nails, made some commitment toward my children education. It is my plan that when I successfully complete my house. I will be one of the most grateful recipients of Givedirectly support in this town (Towah Town) and even within this statutory district GiveDirectly is presenting rending support to households".

What does receiving this money mean to you?
It is my hope that when successful to benefit from Givedirectly cash grant, I will used the money in order to carry on Renovation of house so as to provide conducive living environment for my children and I.
What is the happiest part of your day?
For the past six months, I have been living happier with my neighbors because there is life. But seriously, I have been depressed due to the heavy rain. But as for today, I am overwhelmed with the present of Givedirectly.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My serious challenge right now is the lack of cash. I am hoping by the grace of God to have my house renovated. From the beginning of this rainy season to present, we haven't been really happy as the heavy down poll of rain seriously affected our living condition that caused us not to even go far place.
