What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent the larger part of my third transfer on building a decent spacious house in my own homestead since my previous house was burnt down for a fire disaster this occurred when my children were playing with the traditional lantern and paraffin spill off on my absent setting my house on fir , now I am relieved that I have a shelter. I also bought three bags of maize for my family's consumption.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
With my second transfer, I bought iron-sheets, a bed, a mattress, seats, a sack of maize, clothes for my family, paid school fees and bought food and other consumables with the part of the transfer.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I now own household items which I never had after my house got burnt with everything in last year October. I lived a miserable life before GD came since I used to sleep on a mat on the floor, I lacked seats and even utensils but thanks to GD am almost getting my life back as it was before the fire tragedy. This gas greatly boosted my self esteem since I can today invite guests to my house without the worry of where will they sit. For example, I just gave birth and I now receive a number of guests who came to see the new born, am just wondering how I would have handled them without seats in the house. Am so gratetful to GD and may God bless you.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying iron sheets and constructed a small house in my home. I lived in a poorly built leaking shelter after my main house burnt down so building was my priority..
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy because I finally got a solution to an old leaking house where I was being rained on with my children and having sleepless nights during rainy seasons. Thank you GD.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is making charcoal for sale since the procedures and products needed are so demanding. Looking for firewood for charcoal making in the bush is the most difficult part since I risk alot to wild animals. I would like to thank Givedirectly because I will be able to change to another business to help me provide for my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy at daytime because I meet my friends to discuss development issues. This releases for me stress.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am so happy because I lost hope in life when my house got burnt. Receiving this amount has given me a new hope in life since I will be able to build a new house and live happily with my family. I have been doing the business of charcoal making to provide for my family. Upon getting this amount, I will be able to start a good business like my fellow women in the community does. This will enable me give the best to my family.
