My life is different now because now i have a good house which I did not have before GD came. My family is happy now that we will have a good place for shelter.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly does well in giving people money so that they solve their problems in the way they see it.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have used the second transfer to finish the house i started with the first transfer. I bought doors, frames, nails for roofing and pay wages for people who did all the work.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money means an iron roofed house, good food, clothes and proper household items for me and my seven children. This is so as my povety worsened when the father of my children left me with all these kids. Since then I struggle to provide for their needs hence this money means a lot to us.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the morning as it sets the tone for the day. Mornings are always good for planning how the day will go.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we always face is shortage of food. We never harvest enough from our small garden and with all these children, we end up without food after few months.
