How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal I have set before receiving this transfer is to invest my recent tranfer into making foodstuffs business . I want to start selling foodstuffs business on market table in this village because I believe in business as my major source of income.
I was once selling food stuffs in this village but due to hardship, my business broke down and I have been confused and hopeless in life

In my opinion, Givedirectly is really doing well for our community .Through Givedirectly cash supports, many recipients in our community have started to improve their houses by plastering and changing their houses roofs from thacth to zincs . Other recipients in our village are using their transfers to build new houses while others are sending thier children to schools . Thanks to Givedirectly for restoring my hope in life. There is no system in GiveDirectly that needs improvement.

I am planning to purchase few bags of rice along with few bags of onion and other food stuffs materials like peppers, salts and fish to start selling in this village. I can't estimate the exact quantities of foodstuffs I am planning to buy to sell due to increased in things prices in the market. How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I'm very thankful to Givedirectly for their support. Before than a wasn't easy on my, my children was out of school because I never had money to paid my children school fees. I was so blessed that givedirectly came to my village and I was successful on the program. When I received my first money I was able to register my children in school. Now my New goal is to change my leaking thatched from my house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion givedirectly did very well in my life and that of my village, with the support from givedirectly my children all healthy and in school, givedirectly has changed our entire village with so many new houses, givedirectly was able enrolled all most everyone in my village, everyone has new mattress in their rooms. There's nothing that givedirectly hasn't done well.

When I received my transfer I was able to buy 1 bundle of iron sheets that cost 10,000LD I also paid people to cut Starks to improved my leaking roof. The balance money I'm saving it for futures business. Now my life has changed for the better Many thanks to Givedirectly for their support.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was going on the farm when I received a message with a huge amount of money in it. I was very much happy and calculating how to used my money. I was happy because its my first time getting money for free without paying back. Before than I used to farm the whole day just to get money to paid my children school fees and provide good food for them. My son was seriously sick I never had money to carry him to the hospital, but I'm so thankful to GiveDirectly for their support. With the money I received I was able to take my son for treatment.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life now is I'm able to paid my children school fees, I never had money for my son hospital bulls, but now I was able to paid for all his bills and buy enough of medicine for him. Now I have a small business for myself in my village. I'm so thankful to GiveDirectly.

When I received my transfer I was able to paid my children school fees. I also paid 15,000LD for my son hospital bulls. I bought enough of food for my family. The rest of the money I was able to buy small market to sale and sustains my family.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I'm living only by selling, so once I get this money I will promote my business and get my one shop for selling.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I was only happy when my goods came last month safely and nothing got spoiled.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
This place is along the main road so it's a good business place, but getting goods from Buchanan to here during the rainy season is challenging because the road is very bad so most of my goods can spoiled. Selling during the rainy season is my biggest challenge now.
