How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Aquiring garden land has greatly changed my life as I am now stress free and I no longer have to worry about hiring farm land cheaply. I can now carry out large scale farming. Before, I had a small garden and it was a must to get extra piece of land to cultivate on such that the food could help sustain my family for quite a longer period of time and it was impossible to farm a variety of crops on that small land. I would go to an extent of hiring land on credit hence accumulating debt.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done well by giving me money that has enabled me to aquire garden land that will help in extensive farming. Hence, fulfilling my long term dream.
On the other hand, GiveDirectly has done absolutely nothing bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer Ugx 1500000 to buy garden land. This land will help me in terms of extensive farming.
I used the balance to buy some household items such as utensils, Clothes among others.
