What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I plan on buying a piece of land at $1083 and start a small retail business on it at $272 in Maseketo trading centre, in this I shall gain profits which I shall use to support my daily life. The retail business will be selling basic needs and requirements like soap, cooking oil and cosmetics. I also plan on buying a calf at $406 which will later grow provide milk and calves. This will improve the nutritional levels of my family and future source of income. I shall also use $54 to buy seeds, fertiliser so as I can have a good harvest and $81 to renovate my home.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My cow gave birth to a calf, it was a blessing as I didn't have money, I sold the calf and was able to pay school fees for my grandchildren. This has brought me alot of joy as I watch them go to school comfortably without being sent out for school fees.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am financially not stable because I have a small piece of land which is infertile and always harvest less which are of poor quality. I have another small piece of land that I have cleared but have no seeds like maize, beans this is because I ended up eating them due to the dry season.
