What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer to buy bricks at 730,000ugx and iron sheets at 300,000ugx. Am using part of the balance for paying laborers who are constructing my house and part of it i intend to spend on hiring a garden.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion,Give Directly did well to give me financial support which raised my standard of living. There is nothing that they did not do well according to me, its even my prayer that Give Directly adds me more money.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if i never received money. I now own two bulls and my iron roofed house is under construction. I no longer work as a casual laborer in people' s gardens.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
When I got my first transfer, I bought a bull at 1,000,000ugx in order to help my household in ploughing for improved food production, I used 100,000ugx for purchasing amattress, I also used 100, 000ugx to purchase household items in order to improve on the living conditions and I spent the balance of 500,000ugx for purchasing iron sheets which I intend to use for building a Permanent house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt very happy upon receiving my first transfers.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my status has changed in the community because I now own a bull and the bull keeps me busy taking care of it. When It comes to my social life, I can now mix freely compared with the life before receiving my first transfers.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is poverty. This made me to drop out of school .and now struggling with life just doing small business of selling raw potatoes ,which is not profitable.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is during noon time .especially when there is not loger heads with my wife or family members.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money is going to help me, use for buying cattle and part of it for hiring land for farming.
