What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on purchasing a bag of maize for the family consumption, paid fees for my child who is in high school and bought decent clothes for my children. I also paid thithe in church and spent most of the transfer on purchasing a sofa set since I had plastic chairs and the outdated seats.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer in that, right now I stay in a decent house built using the previous transfers and own well furnished seats that are comfortable.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what GiveDirectly did well was sending money through the M-pesa to the receipients hence increased the privacy and even security of the individual.

We're planning to spend our transfer on buying a land,we're currently staying in someone else's land which was given temporarily and also very small.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement we're most proudest of is having been able to build our current house even though the land is small and not ours.Doing this was not easy given that we do not have proper source of income to sustain us.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship we're facing currently is on paying school fees for our two children in secondary school, one is in form four and the other in form two.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I step out to go for my casual construction work even though it is not continous..Through this,I'm able to fend for my family.
