What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent 25000 KES of my third transfer on building a new house. I bought a cow at 18000 KES and used the rest of the money on paying school for my children.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I have made a step in life and achieved most of the things I needed but I couldn't do on my own. Like I had a small old house but now I have a bigger descent house, I didn't have a cow but now I have owned a cow of my own and my children too are going to school without being sent back home for school fee while others are studying.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Gd does well by giving cash to recipients directly and let them decide on what to do with it without going through a second party. This does not allow for corruption thus recipients gets the whole amount of money meant for them.

I spent my second transfer on purchasing a dairy cow @35000 Kes, paid my child's secondary school fees of 5000 Kes, bought a sack of maize @6000 Kes and the remaining amount I spent on buying food and other little household items.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily like I that I am today more happier because I have the one thing I had always longed for but I could not afford, that is a dairy cow. And again I can today save some little amount daily since I do not have to buy tins of maize on a daily basis.

I spent my first transfer on purchase of top dressing fertilizer as well as certified maize seeds (5,000 KES) for better crop performance. I also paid secondary school fee for our child (5,000 KES) to support his consistent learning.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received my money I felt very happy because I was at that very moment stressed and really struggling regarding our child’s school fee, so the money was an answered prayer in our lives.

The biggest hardship I am facing in my life is lack of a steady stream of income, because I rely on a hired motorcycle to do the taxi business which is not very reliable.

The happiest part of my day is in the evening when we are eating our supper.
