How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
There are many things that i have set as goals since i have received the transfers from Give Directly. My new goal is to own a house and i have started building it. I bought new iron sheets, bricks and now in the processing of owning my own house. However, as you can see, i live in the village and it may be hard to sustain this new goal because of the rise in prices. Here in the village, we do not have access to piece work but am grateful that this process has started with the help of Give Directly which would not have happen without this organisation.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, i can fault Give Directly for it has not done anything wrong according to me. I am such happy and grateful that the organisation took time to help people in the villages like me. I am so happy and grateful!
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have used most of my recent transfers to buy iron sheet for my house. I have started building a house.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am so grateful for the transfer. I am a single mother and it's very hard to provide for the family. I will use the money to renovate my house and buy some food.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I always celebrate the new year. So I can say that 1 January 2022 brought happiness and joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Lack of food has been a great challenge. I also struggle a lot to find money to support my family.
